The Payal Collective (formerly Closet by Payal) is an online clothing store based in Gurugram, Haryana, founded by Payal Kataria. The business has been operating since May 2021, offering thoughtfully curated clothing and fashion products sourced from trusted local and international vendors.

Our focus is on providing unique, premium-quality fashion pieces across a wide range of sizes, allowing customers to build a versatile and conscious wardrobe. We carefully select our products based on quality, design, and customer preferences.

Over the past five years, we have successfully delivered 50,000+ orders to customers across India and have built a strong customer community through our online presence. Our 80K+ Instagram community has also supported the brand through customer feedback, reviews, and user-generated content.

Payal Kataria – Founder

Payal Kataria is the founder and owner of the business. She founded Closet by Payal (CBP) in May 2021 and has since managed and developed the business, including its product curation, online operations, customer experience, and brand growth.

Business Name Transition

Closet by Payal (CBP) has now been rebranded as The Payal Collective (TPC).

The Payal Collective is the new brand/business identity of Closet by Payal, and both names refer to a business founded and operated by Payal Kataria.

There has been no change in ownership or founder as part of this rebranding. Payal Kataria remains the founder and owner of The Payal Collective (TPC), previously known as Closet by Payal (CBP).

We are continuing our journey of building a trusted online fashion business and look forward to serving our customers through The Payal Collective.
